Project Scope
This project involved a ground floor addition and extensive remodeling of the existing structure, aimed at transforming the ​living experience for the family. The primary objective was to create modern, functional spaces that better align with the ​clients’ lifestyle.
The addition included a new master suite, complete with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in robe, providing the parents with a ​private retreat. This also allowed for the reconfiguration of existing spaces, resulting in larger rooms for the family, including a ​spacious bedroom for their daughter, an expanded study, and a new rumpus room. The remodel of the existing home featured ​a completely new kitchen in a relocated position, an updated bathroom, the removal of several walls, and the creation of new ​external openings to achieve an open floor plan.
Given the family’s love for entertaining, the design prioritised creating an open, welcoming, and fresh environment that ​seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Design
Our approach to this project was centred around two key objectives: tailoring the home to ​perfectly match the clients' lifestyle and striking an ideal balance between functionality and ​aesthetics. By working closely with our clients, we were able to develop a design that caters ​to their unique needs and desires. The outcome is a home that not only exceeds our clients' ​expectations but also stands as a testament to our commitment to quality.
The design fosters a warm, inviting, and family-oriented environment, with plenty of room for ​privacy, relaxation, and social interactions.

The facade of this project presents a modern ​and streamlined appearance, characterised ​by a simple, neutral colour palette. The ​single-storey design is accented by sleek ​grey render and window shutters, while the ​monument-coloured roof tiles add a touch of ​contrast.
The large awning windows are framed in ​monument. With white shutters offering both ​privacy and a stylish visual element. These ​windows not only enhance the home's ​contemporary look but also allow ample ​natural light to flood the interior, creating a ​bright and welcoming atmosphere inside.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features a calming and ​modern design, with deep blue walls creating a ​cosy atmosphere complemented by white accents ​and trim. The space is anchored by a plush, ​upholstered bed, and is filled with natural light ​thanks to the strategically placed windows. The ​room connects to an ensuite, enhancing its luxuri​ous feel.
A soft, textured ru​g​ adds warmth underfoot, completing the invit​ing and serene ambiance of this master retreat.
Kitchen
This kitchen is a blend of modern elegance and functionality. The crisp white cabinetry, paired ​with glass-paneled upper cabinets, creates a clean and timeless look. The central island features ​a sleek stone countertop, complemented by green bar stools, adding a touch of warmth and style ​to the space. With ample natural light streaming in from large sliding doors, the kitchen feels open​ and inviting, perfect for both everyday cooking and entertaining.
Li​ving Room
This living room features an open-concept layout that seamlessly integrates with the kitchen and ​dining area, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere. The neutral colour palette is enhanced by ​warm wood flooring and sleek, modern furnishings, providing a stylish yet comfortable space for ​relaxation. Large sliding glass doors allow ample natural light to flood the room while offering easy ​access to the outdoor area. A plush sofa and a cosy area rug add to the inviting feel, making this ​living room the perfect spot for both entertaining and everyday living.
Ro​oms
Each room has been tailored to meet the family's needs, offering a blend of comfort, functionality​, and style. From the versatile children's playroom and the bright study area, every detail has b​een considered to create inviting and practical spaces that can adapt to the changing needs of t​he family over time.
Bedroom
This charming kids' bedroom is designed with a ​soothing lavender palette, creating a calming and ​welcoming space. The room features practical ​elements like ample closet storage and a ceiling fan ​for comfort.
The neutral tones of the furniture and decor allow for ​the room to easily evolve as their daughter grows, ​making it a versatile space that can adapt to changing ​tastes and needs over the years. Natural light streams ​through the window, adding to the room's airy and ​bright atmosphere.
Pl​ay Room
This children's playroom is designed to be a versatile ​and adaptable space, perfect for years of use as the ​child grows. The soft, neutral colour palette creates a ​calm and welcoming environment, while the ample ​natural light adds to the room's brightness.
The layout provides plenty of floor space for playtime ​now, with bean bags and a small play area, yet it can ​easily be reconfigured to suit changing needs as the ​child ages. The mirrored wardrobe doors add a sense ​of spaciousness and offer practical storage solutions ​that will remain functional as the room evolves.
St​udy
This study room is a bright and airy space, ideal for focused work. The large window fitted with ​white plantation shutters allows ample natural light to fill the room, creating an inviting and ​productive environment.
The minimalist decor, including a sleek wooden desk and a comfortable swivel chair, ensures the ​room is functional without being cluttered. The mirrored closet doors add depth to the room, ​enhancing its spacious feel while providing additional storage.
Ba​throom
This main bathroom combines modern elegance with functional design, featuring a stunning ​patterned tile floor that adds character to the space. The walk-in shower with brushed copper fixt​ures and a sleek glass screen provides a luxurious touch, while the freestanding bathtub offers a ​relaxing escape. The green vanity with ample storage is both practical and stylish, complemente​d by the large mirror that enhances the room's spacious feel. It's a bathroom designed for com​fort and style, offering a serene retreat within t​he home.
Laundry
This laundry space combines functionality with a clean, minimalist design. The stacked washer ​and dryer provide ample space for laundry needs while the overhead cabinetry offers plenty of ​storage for essentials. A sleek stainless-steel sink and modern fixtures enhance the utility of the ​area, while the subtle, patterned floor tiles add a touch of style.
Outdoor Area
This outdoor area is an inviting space perfect for relaxation and entertaining. The covered patio ​provides ample shade and comfort, with modern furniture and a ceiling fan enhancing the space's ​usability, even on warmer days. The sleek, glass-enclosed pool adds a luxurious touch, offering a ​refreshing spot to cool off while maintaining a stylish, seamless connection to the outdoor living ​area. The open flow into the kitchen and living room through the massive 3 stacker sliding d​oor creates a cohesive indoor-outdoor living experience, perfect for family gatherings or casual lo​unging.
