Project Scope
This major project consisted of a comprehensive renovation, including a significant first-floor addition, encompassing both interior and exterior enhancements. The first floor now boasts a spacious master bedroom featuring an ensuite and a walk-in robe, alongside three additional bedrooms for the kids, a generously sized bathroom, and a spacious 4-door storage cupboard. The facade's finishing touch is a rendered texture coat for a modern aesthetic.
Downstairs, we strategically redesigned the layout to optimize functionality and create a more spacious atmosphere. This involved relocating the kitchen to the former family room, resizing and restructuring the bathroom and laundry, and repurposing the old kitchen area into a new stairwell and garage entry. The partition wall between the original family space and a bedroom was removed to establish an open-plan layout connecting the kitchen to the newly designated family room. To enhance the house's curb appeal, we moved the front door to the front face after removing an existing front bedroom.
A seamless flow was achieved by constructing a large 2-car carport in line with the roof. At the rear, a striking decked entertaining area was added, featuring beautiful 140mm Merbau decking. Rendering of the ground floor matched the first-floor facade, and all doors and windows on the ground level were upgraded to new installations. Furthermore, the entire roof was retiled with new tiles to harmonize with the first-floor aesthetic
Design
Our design approach for this project was guided by two core objectives. Firstly, we aimed to create a home that could adapt to the evolving needs of a growing family. Secondly, we wanted to strike the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. Through collaborative discussions with our clients, we tailored the design to align seamlessly with their desires and requirements.
The end result is a home that not only brings joy to our clients but also resonates with our own sense of accomplishment.
The home is thoughtfully designed to cultivate a warm, open, and family-centric atmosphere. We've ensured ample space for the kids to grow, the parents to unwind, and for hosting gatherings with family and friends. Our commitment to creating a homely environment is reflected in every corner of the design.

In its new location, the kitchen underwent a complete redesign, offering a fresh layout and new features. The addition of a spacious walk-in pantry ensures a tidy kitchen space. The new kitchen features an island bench, a large 900mm oven, and a convenient breakfast bar. The laundry is equipped with cupboards and storage, creating a highly functional and organized space.
Ground Floor Areas
The ground floor has welcomed new spaces, including a family room created by removing existing walls, fostering an open and connected atmosphere between the kitchen and family area. An existing bedroom has been transformed into a home office with space for two workstations, overhead storage, and built-in cupboards for added convenience.
The former dining room now serves as a dedicated rumpus room for the kids. Additionally, the front entry features extensive built-in cupboards, providing ample storage for various items rather than cluttering the floor at the entrance.
